Irish was a Godsend from the day we met her. She helped me rescue my father from an abusive neglectful situation into the calmness of the Goldwood Senior Home. He went from being alone to being a part of a small family at Goldwood, receiving constant care and comfort. Our experience at Goldwood exceeded my expectation and was everything I could have asked for. My father had dietary restrictions, limited mobility and could be stubborn, but none of that was an issue for the Goldwood staff. Elena and other staff take great care with each resident; their care is personalized to their individual needs. I was very impressed how organized the care team was as each individual's care plan was different. The staff maintain information binders for each resident, there are separated personalized bins for each holding their medications, and a set routine throughout the day. All of this creates a calm, structured environment. My father's last breath was in Irish and Lundy's company, as they sat praying with him and assuring him he was loved and God was waiting for him. They were his two angels on Earth and for the rest of my life, that kind, loving image will stay with me. Thank you Irish and Elena, I will be eternally grateful to both of you.
